New officers join Niles Police Department

NILES — The Niles Police Department added two new police officers to its ranks on Jan. 3.
Sworn in were Officer Kelley Dolan and Officer Christopher Koch. The two were hired to replace two officers who retired in 2012.
Dolan and Koch will now begin a 12-week training program at the Suburban Law Enforcement Academy at the College of DuPage. Once they complete training they will return to the Niles Police Department to undergo 14 weeks of field training before taking on full police officer duties.
