The Niles Police Department will host a prescription drug take-back day on Saturday, Sept. 29 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the police station, 7000 W. Touhy Ave.
Residents will have an opportunity to drop off unused and unwanted prescription medications.
The service is free and anonymous. It is intended to prevent prescription drug abuse and to keep medications out of the trash and water system.
